Rob Tudor joined Nashville State as the Director of IT Partnerships and Student Placement in Spring 2018. He develops work-based learning opportunities for IT students, creates deep partnerships in the IT community, and innovates the college’s credit and non-credit IT programs.
Rob is an IT Leader with over 39 years of project and people management experience in many industry verticals: automotive financing, publishing, retail, supply chain / logistics and higher education / state government. Over his career, Rob has led IT applications and infrastructure operations focusing on strategic objectives, systems management, process improvement, and enterprise technology solutions.
Rob is active in the IT community having served on the Greater Nashville Technology Council’s Foundation board, and currently serving on the executive board for the Nashville Chapter of Blacks in Technology, the IT Academies Advisory Committee at Overton High School, the National and Local Chamber’s TPM Collaborative, and EDC’s Mentoring Data Pathways and AI Collaborative. In addition, Rob assists area chambers to recruit IT companies to the region. He holds a BS degree in MIS from Western Kentucky University and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in CBE from Lipscomb University.
