Education Design
David Reider, principal partner of Education Design, specializes in program evaluation for K–12 and postsecondary projects in STEM. Reider’s areas of focus include new technologies and processes for K-12 STEM education, broadening participation in STEM, and workforce development through STEM education. He has evaluated projects supported by NSF, NASA, NOAA, the U.S. Department of Education, as well as private foundations.
Reider has served as the external evaluator on several of EDC’s grants including both Creating Pathways for Big Data Careers (NSF 1501927) and Mentoring to Support Designing and Launching of New Data Science Career Pathways at Community Colleges (NSF 1902568), and has developed a close working relationships with the partners involved in this project.
