Chris Jones holds the rank of Professor at Harford Community College and serves as the Coordinator of the Mathematics, Data Science, and Computer Science Programs at Harford. He earned a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Applied and Industrial Mathematics from Towson University.
Harford joined EDC as a mentee institution on the Mentoring to Support Designing and Launching of New Data Science Career Pathways at Community Colleges (NSF 1902568) project in 2019. Over the course of this grant, Jones developed the curriculum for Harford’s Data Science Program and Harford’s Certificate in Data Science.
